VILLIGER – LAMURE

Villa Mure is a musical trio consisting of Kendra Villiger, Colin LaMure, and Ethan Evans. Rooted just as much in 70’s progressive rock as modern alternative and cultivated by the eclectic Louisville music scene, Villa Mure’s music is anchored on the chemistry of textural guitar work, melodic bass, and vocal harmonies. Villa Mure fearlessly explores the musical landscape that falls between rock n roll, progressive-rock, heartland-rock, psychedelia, blues-rock, and jam. Live, the band creates an atmosphere that recalls the psychedelic, but presents itself in the simplicity of the tried and true rock n’ roll power trio, with grooving instrumentals intertwined with lyrics intended to speak from your own inner voice. With performances on WFPK's Waterfront Wednesday series, WEKU's Red Barn Radio, and new music forthcoming, Villa Mure is on a path to becoming an inimitable force on the Midwest American music scene.
